Hello!

I'm planing to make a trip in Italy for 1-2 weeks, starting at 16 April. I'll start in Milan where I'll take my friend.

First we though to rent a car, but I'm not sure if this is the best way. There is an option to go to Rome the same day where a friend of ours would lend us his car (not sure yet).

Anyway, I'll be very happy if you could give me ideas & suggestions about the trip: some nice places to visit (small towns, nature, interesting spots), best type of transport (to rent a car, to take the train, bus), accommodation etc.

I've never made a trip before, so I'll appreciate if you could share with me all kind of information!

Has someone already had made a trip to Italy? What did you like/dislike about it?
