I am visiting Toronto 1-6 April and during this time we want to hire a car and go to Niagra Falls for the day, and whilst there, I have found a outlet mall in Buffalo across the nearby border for a spot of shopping.
My questions.

1. Would it be possible to Park up our rental car and walk across the border into the US?

2. If this is possible, would there be taxi's available to take us to the outlet mall?

3. Would anyone know what the crossing times are for pedestians over the weekend, are there many delays, or are these more for the cars?
